New Year!

Yeah, so I know that it's been a new year for nearly a month now, but I've been neglecting this blog for a while now, so this is my first entry of 2010. I'm meeting plenty of cool people who make films, and may even have some ideas brewing in the back of my head for a film of my own-more details to come as I figure them out for myself!

I finally got to see (past SIFF guest-speaker) Gregory Whitmore's documentary "Kabul Transit" in its entirety, thanks to the Saint Michael's College Library and its ability to keep great films on its shelves, and I definitely recommend the film. In fact, it's probably now one of my favorite documentaries. I've also been on a little Spike Jonze kick, and not just because he directed a music video for one of my all-time favorite bands back in the '90s. I haven't decided whether I prefer "Being John Malkovich" or "Adaptation" yet, so I might have to watch them both again soon!
