At School and Psyched to Find More Awesome Filmmakers!

OK, so I'm aware that my title for this entry sounds more like an ad on a dating website than a SIFF blog post, but whatever. The point is that I am now at school in the remarkably creative Burlington, VT area, and I feel sure that I am going to meet some very talented new filmmakers (of course, it doesn't hurt that I keep telling anyone who asks that I want to be a documentary filmmaker. It definitely helps the cause to say that). I haven't really met any yet, but the year has just begun--insert evil laugh here.

I've been taking a Mass Communication class, which has been highly interesting, and I just can't wait until we start talking about film. I've also been watching a lot of movies, but few (save the YouTube ones) are independent, and most are movie musicals, so I'm not sure they even count.

Hope everyone's having an awesome time wherever they are, and, as I say every time, keep making films!
